Prompt2System Hackathon
At The RWTH Collective Incubator
Over just 1.5 days, we hosted 30 talented students for the Siemens Prompt2System Hackathon at the Collective Incubator. Their mission: build a system model for a rescue drone in mountainous terrain using open-source AI tools. In a focused 7-hour sprint, teams transformed ideas into impressive prototypes, an inspiring showcase of fast, explainable AI-assisted engineering.
The next day the teams presented their ideas in front of a jury and the winning team earned the chance to present at the Future of AI‑based Systems Engineering conference. We’re proud to co-hosted such an great Hackathon with Siemens at the Collective Incubator.
A big thank you to our dedicated jury Katrien Wyckaert, Hans-Juergen Mantsch, Bernhard Lang, Dr. Gregor Höpfner & Yannick Hemmeter - and to our fantastic organization team: Helena Dathe, Yannic Spiegl, Naz Aydemir, Daniel Kofman, Sebastian Dreßen, Martin Koczmann, Katharina Bröker, Katharina Steier and Yasemin Cilt.
And of course, shout-out to all participants for showing what focused collaboration can achieve.
