WINNERS OF THE RWTH INNOVATION AWARD 2021

Today more than ever, technological disruption requires solid research. This is why universities represent powerhouses of innovation. To bridge the gap between science and industry and translate research into application, RWTH Aachen University honors particularly innovative, technology-driven ideas with high market potential with the RWTH Innovation Award. It is presented annually to three cutting-edge technologies with the power to create meaningful impact on industry and society and the ambition to go “To infinity and beyond”.

In 2021, the enormous range and potential of the applications submitted once again made it harder for the jury to select the winners. Now, the top 3 have been officially announced:
