RWTH Aachen University #1 in patent applications
The German Patent and Trademark Office has chosen the RWTH Aachen University to be in first place for patent appliocations. In 2018 there have been 44 patent applications without the ones of the European Patent office.
“To us, a high number of patents is one side of the coin. We are looking forward to seeing many of these IP projects thrive and have impact on industry and society.” says Malte Brettel, Vice-Rector for Industry and Business Relations.
