In additive manufacturing systems, it is difficult to recognize and assign individual components during the production process because the components have a large number of different geometries. According to the state of the art, the components are recognized and assigned manually based on an image of the CAD file of the respective component. This process is time-consuming, cost-intensive and often leads to confusion in practice. To support the employee within this process, a software application for data glasses is being developed. The data glasses capture the components in the employee's field of view via several built-in cameras. By using an AI-based recognition algorithm in the backend, the component is recognized and corresponding metainformation such as customer, deadline, next processing step is displayed in the glasses. In addition, the CAD file can be displayed next to the real component within the glasses. Thus, first quality assurance measures can be derived.
