As of December 2022, RWTH Aachen University started a new strategic partnership with Deutsche Telekom AG to strengthen the strategic collaboration in the areas of talent as well as research and development. Earlier this year, we had the pleasure to welcome a delegation from Deutsche Telekom AG to Aachen in order to kick-off the new partnership and discuss different cooperation possibilities and next steps.

Yesterday, Deutsche Telekom AG met with business administration students at RWTH. Sören Hannemann (Business Controlling Group Technology at Deutsche Telekom AG) joined Prof. Malte Brettel in his class “Introduction to Business Administration” to give a guest lecture on “Invesmtent & Financing”, covering such diverse topics as investments, financing and accounting from a corporate and start-up perspective (financing rounds), and technology and innovation controlling.

Long-term oriented partnership through impactful innovation

Deutsche Telekom AG is already involved in various research projects and career events at the RWTH campus and is keen to further intensify and develop innovative solutions for the near and long-term future with RWTH students and researchers. The new strategic collaboration between Deutsche Telekom AG and RWTH is operationally managed by RWTH Innovation GmbH. As part of the key account partnership, our Bussiness Relations Management works closely with the new Magenta Campus Team to create a lasting cooperation with impact.
