“Our vision is to establish a new and integrated way of enabling innovation and start-ups in the RWTH Aachen ecosphere” said Bram Wijlands, Managing Director of RWTH Innovation GmbH after the announcement of the "Exzellenz Start-up Center.NRW".
To achieve this goal, RWTH Aachen University will be funded by the North Rhine-Westphalian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitization and Energy until 2024. The goal is to establish Europe's largest fully integrated tech incubator powered by RWTH Innovation.
