Goal
Support PhD students and researchers in the early stages of founding a business
Short Description
In the three-hour format, participants will learn more about the success factors and competences of an entrepreneur, become more aware of their own skills and learn to better assess their relevance for a career as an entrepreneur. The interactive workshop includes input from experienced speakers, individual exercises in small groups and room for networking.
Target group
PhD students and postdocs, interested in entrepreneurship, who would like to use their knowledge and experience to start their own business.
Workshop content
- A speaker who will discuss their experiences as a founder
- Interactive sharing of knowledge and experience to use existing soft skills and achieve goals
- Expanding of network: Connecting with other PhD students and postdocs with similar interests
Organisation
The three-hour workshop takes place two to four times a year.
