Goal
Make doctoral researchers and postdocs aware of the start-up-relevant skills they already possess thanks to their research and how these can be applied purposefully when setting up a company.
Short description
In the three-hour format, participants will learn more about the success factors and competences of an entrepreneur, become more aware of their own skills and learn to better assess their relevance for a career as an entrepreneur. The interactive workshop includes interesting input from experienced speakers, individual exercises in small groups and room for networking.
In the workshop we offer you:

A speaker who will discuss with you their experiences as a founder

Improvement of soft skills: Interactive sharing of knowledge and experience to see how you can use your existing skills to achieve your goals

Expanding your network: You will have the chance to connect with other PhD students and postdocs whose interests are similar to yours
Target group
You are a PhD student or postdoc, interested in entrepreneurship, and you would like to know how you can use your knowledge and experience to start your own business.
Costs
There are no costs for you.
Start-up/business idea
A business idea of your own is not(!) a prerequisite for participation.
